“Why I Chose to Shave My Head”

“Why I Shaved My Head – A Sacred Offering”

🙏 Tirumala Mokku. A vow fulfilled. 🙏

This isn't just a new look.
This is faith made visible.

A few months ago, I made a mokku — a heartfelt vow to Lord Venkateswara. I prayed in silence, with tears and trust, asking for strength, guidance, and blessings for my family. And in return, I promised something deeply personal: my hair.

For many, it's just hair. But for me, it was my offering.
A symbol of surrender. Gratitude. Humility.

At Tirumala, as the clippers buzzed and my hair gently fell, I felt nothing but peace.
No fear. No regret. Just a calm surrender to something greater than me.

People looked, some asked, “Why would you do that?”
And I smiled. Because they saw a bald head, but I felt a fulfilled prayer.

Wearing this shaved head, I carry the blessings of the hills, the strength of my vow, and the grace of Lord Venkateswara.
This is not a loss — it’s a spiritual reset.
An act of love. A promise kept.

To anyone walking a path of faith — I hope you find the courage to follow through on your vows, just like I did. The blessings that follow are beyond words.

Govinda! Govinda! 🙏💫
